1968 Plymouth Barracuda

There are many project cars built at West Auckland Engine Reconditioners (WAER) that have been featured in the NZ V8 magazine and others; one of them was Marion’s 1968 Plymouth Barracuda. While the Barracuda took 4 years to build, the story can go back 30 years ago, when Eric promised to buy another muscle car after he sold his E49 Charger.

Performance Engine

At WAER, there is wide range of variety of high performance engines.

With our qualified automotive machinists, we are able to design and build engines for all forms of motor sport 
from street driven muscle cars and hot rods to drag cars. 

The most recent project we had at WAER was the restoration of the 1960 Dodge Seneca.
