Advancing up the company ladder from apprentice to service manager he remained with the dealership for fifteen years before accepting an offer to shift to Waihi and take a position as service manager at the Chrysler dealership there. Eric later accepted a job as at a major Ford dealership in Auckland and remained there for a further nine years before purchasing West Auckland Engine Reconditioners in 1990. An A-grade mechanic, with a solid background in the automotive industry, Eric is the holder of a number of Chrysler proficiency certificates in engine management and performance, automatic transmissions, hydraulics and service management. During his years with Ford processes, parts and service operations, and service management. He also holds CNG and LPG certification. Eric personally handles all the transmission work at West Auckland Engine Reconditioners and his extensive and expert knowledge of Chrysler engines and Torqueflight transmissions has gained the company an excellent reputation around New Zealand. Supporting Eric is a highly skilled staff of seven who collectively represent over 150 years of experience in the automotive industry. |
